Rahul Pandit appointed as CEO of Roots Corporation

Roots Corporation Limited (RCL) which operates ‘Ginger’ chain of hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Indian Hotels Company Limited, announced the appointment of Rahul Pandit as chief executive officer, an industry veteran with over two decades of experience in the hospitality and travel industry.

“We are delighted to welcome Rahul back to the Taj family. He will be a valuable addition to the Indian Hotels Company Limited and contribute significantly by realizing the future strategic vision for Ginger hotels,” said Rakesh Sarna, MD & CEO, IHCL.

Pandit had earlier worked with IHCL for six years. He is one of the founding members of Lemon Tree Hotels where he played a multi-faceted role in developing diverse aspects of new business including operations, HR, technology and sales.
