Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA) has announced the International Chef’s Day award for hotel management institutes and catering colleges, hotels, fine dine restaurants and others connected to the profession. The aim of the award is to create awareness of the profession and give back to the community even as they celebrate the culinary profession.
Participants may conduct culinary demonstrations, competitions, seminars or conferences, for the development of chefs or charity event/dinners for the benefit of the underprivileged. These activities have to be conducted between October 17-22, 2012 and under the theme Feed the Planet.
