FRHI Hotels & Resorts is now offering complimentary high-speed and wireless internet access to all FRHI loyalty club members, regardless of how customers book their stay. Members can now make their reservation through their preferred booking channel – whether it be through a travel agent, online or directly via the company’s proprietary reservation systems – to receive what is now widely recognised as a must have benefit.

Jeff Senior, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, FRHI Hotels & Resorts said, “Our philosophy is to work closely with travel agents in promoting our distinctive brands and hotels, provide them with tools and services to grow their commissions, and make it convenient and easy for them to do business with us. Our offer of free internet access to loyalty members, even when booking through an agent, underscores this commitment and shows the vital role these travel partners play in FRHI’s distribution strategy. We recognise the value of great relationships and understand the importance of these ongoing partnerships to our continued success.”

While many hotel groups and brands today offer complimentary internet access to all their guests, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has been offering members of its guest recognition programme, Fairmont President’s Club (FPC), complimentary high-speed and wireless internet access in the guestroom, lobbies and other public spaces since January 2006. Members of the loyalty programmes of Fairmont’s sister brands, Raffles Ambassadors and Swissôtel Circle, also enjoy this benefit.
