The second edition of FHW Exhibiton in Goa was inaugurated by Chef Ranjeet Pandey, president, Culinary Forum of Goa; Chef Jugesh Arora, president, South India Culinary Association; Mohan Deshpande, president, Hospitality Purchase Managers Forum; Chef Salil Fadnis, executive chef, Sahara Star, Mumbai & Aamby Valley City; Chef Kasisviswanathan, executive chef, Radisson by Blue Atria Hotel, Bengaluru along with chefs from nine leading hotel brands in Goa like JW Marriott, The Leela, Alila Diwa, Cidade de Goa, Novotel Goa, The Zuri Whitestands, Hard Rock Hotel, Planet Hollywood Resort and Resort Rio.
The chefs also launched the coffee table book titled ‘Goa’s Seafood Secrets’ in which they have shared their signature seafood recipes. These chefs also participated in a panel discussion on the wedding banquet scene in Goa.
The day also witnessed Flower Art and Towel Origami as part of the Goa Housekeepers Challenge.
The 29th edition of Food Hospitality World being organised in Goa from August 11-13, 2016 will see many interesting new highlights this year. The total expo space is more than 5,000 sq m at the venue, Dr SP Mukherjee Stadium. The expected number of exhibitor participation is 150 plus, with an expected footfall of more than 4000 visitors.
The important industry partnerships at FHW Goa 2016 is Culinary Forum of Goa (CFG), Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum (HPMF) and Indian Professional Housekeepers Association (IPHA).
The show highlights are the live events. FHW, in association with CFG, will organise the second edition of Culinary Challenge of Goa in the following categories: chocolate showpiece and chocolate making; wedding cakes; food carvings and salad dressing. Goa Flair Challenge 2016 is being organised for the very first time in association with Tito’s Bar Academy where India’s top bar tenders will showcase their flair.
FHW is an effective platform for insightful panel discussions. In continuing with the tradition, the Goa edition this year will see three power packed panel discussions – Hospitality Think Tank, Hospitality Knowledge Exchange, and the The Power of Purchase.
